Medicine touches all our lives. Exploring the heart of what it means to be human, the Wellcome Book Prize returns to The Tabernacle for a special late morning 5×15 ahead of the winner announcement.

Siddhartha Mukherjee, Sarah Moss and Maylis de Kerangal will be taking to the stage to introduce their shortlisted books, joined by Jeevan Kalanithi, brother of Paul Kalanithi, whose posthumous memoir When Breath Becomes Air is in contention for this year’s prize.

The Wellcome Book Prize celebrates the best books – fiction or non-fiction – that engage with our brushes with health, medicine and illness. The winner will be announced on April 24th.
